[resolved] Adding Links list to a page (3 posts)

    I don't want to put my links in a sidebar, I've created a links page here:

    http://www.greenfreak.net/?page_id=59

    I downloaded and installed wp-exec (Execution of all things) based on the 2.0.6 plugin compatibility list. This plugin advises:

    usage:

    <exec type="links" />

    If I copy and paste this into the page, nothing happens. Based on the WP pages for template tags/get links, I've also tried to copy that code, but it partly shows up as text on the page, and doesn't deliver the links list.

    I've turned off the visual rich editor and WP correction of invalidly nested XHTML. I know I must be missing something in the way I'm pasting code, missing tags, or whatnot. If you could help and tell me what I should be pasting in my page, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance!

    For creating a Links page you don't really need any php plugins...
    What you need is this:
    - a Page template with the proper links manager template tag in it
    - go Write > Write Page and create a new Page using that template
    - NO content in it!
    - save and you are done.
