Adding item to nav menu via plugin (1 post)

    Hi All,

    I am in the process of writing my first plugin. It's pretty simple. Firstly I want to register a custom post type (done) and secondly I want to add a link to the nav_menu.

    Does anyone know how to do this? I'm sure that I could spend another hour or two reading the documentation but I thought that maybe someone could point out the solution straight-away.
