    Hi,

I'm trying to add an image from my flickr account. I've tried using the upload/insert add media thing and I've tried using the link in the html bit. But neither are working. When I add the URL from the add media button it displays a red 'X'.

Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas?

    Cheers

Use the From Url tab in the Add Media popup.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have been using the From URL tab in the add media popup, but when I do a red 'X' appears next to the link and the 'insert to post' button is grey.

    Cheers

I just uploaded a photo to my gallery from my PC from the add media popup and it seemed to work. Still can't get photos to add from flickr or anywhere else.

    Cheers

Try enabling access to your Flickr images.

Yea, access is enabled. I was using images from flickr OK before I got hacked.

What happens when you insert http://www.flickr.com/photos/kitschiguy/7065299213/in/photostream into the url of the From Url tab?

    Nothing happens - a red 'X' appears.

I got a picture working from flickr last night by pasting HTML that flickr provides on a share tab on the photo page. Seems to work fine but not URL's. Just though I'd let you know.

    Thanks for the help

Exactly. You have been trying to post a link to a photostream - not a single image.
