Hi there
I would loike to know if its possible to upload a designed html page through ftp, then view it on the wordpress dashboard as any other page generated on wp?
Im trying out Link assist and a smf forum , both generating html pages, but I do want to be able to channge them afterward using WP, and to be able to add them to my menu and page list as any other page.

Nope.
However, you could probably get it done with a WordPress Page template. Create a new page template and leave out The_Loop code, just put in your own contents directly. (see Pages for more about Page templates).
Then you just create a new Page, select that template you just created, give it a title and you're done.

and you pretty much have no hope of integrating SMF with WP in any way right now.
It was possible about 6months ago..... but nobody seems to be getting anywhere with that project any more
