I dragged over a Text widget to my sidebar and now want to add thumbnail graphics and links to the inside of the widget.

    1. If I write the code in a program like Dreamweaver, can i just copy and paste the code that creates the structure for how I want it laid out?
    2. Where should I store these thumbnail images that will be placed in the widget?
Should the images be uploaded to the same FTP location where the theme images are uploaded?

    Thanks.

you can just copy over the code. I can't remember if code works perfectly in the text widget or not. If it doesn't just look for a code widget....I use one for php code.

You can put the images anywhere you want, as long as your code links to that location

Thanks for the reply. Where do you get a code widget?

well...you go to the plugin directory and search 'code widget'!

I'm certain the standard text widget will work for html code, but here's the one that allows php too...

Do you just insert just the segment of code you want like the image tag, or links or do you have to place the <html><body> etc. tags before and after the code you want to use?

    thanks!!!
