   I would like to use the [gallery] feature in the sidebar text widget, and link the images with captions not to the image file, but to different websites. Can anyone suggest strategies of how to do this elegantly without crazy-ugly-tangled HTML?

   I assume that I will need to use some variation on [gallery option1="value1" option2="value2"] but am really not sure.
