I found a a photo to use for the featured image on Flickr, but it’s showing up as a blank photo on my page for some reason. Do you know why that is? Do we have post a link to a photo? Or can we also upload it from our files?

In Dashboard => Appearance => Theme Options you have ‘Featured Image (link)’ where you should add the url of the desired image.

If you want you could upload the image in your site and to use the uploaded image url, it should work fine.

I tried adding the url for several images, and it just shows up as a blank photo. Here’s my website: http://www.katyagordeeva.com.

From what I saw the image url is actually a page. See http://www.stockvault.net/photo/133438/antique-typewriter-close-up
In theme options you should add the image url, not a page

Hm, I’m not sure why it did that. Do you have any suggestions of free images sites where I can easily get the image urls?
