I've tried the method shown here in http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Favicon to add a favicon to my site but i've failed. It doesn't work. Any other methods available for changing the favicon?

I did it to both my last replies, and this one too. I checked the box that says mark this topic as resolved. It didn't close?

    Hey guys,

Wondering if someone could please help me.

Using the cPanel X program I've pasted the favicon.ico into these locations:
    Public_Html
    public_html\wp-content\themes\scope(theme name)\
    public_html\wp-content\themes\scope(theme name)\images

It seems like I've added almost every combination of text into the Head section of Header.php using the WordPress Editor.

Here's an example of the latest text I'm using.

Any help would be REALLY appreciated :)

    Thanks

    Rich
