   Not sure what my issue is here, I'm somewhat new to wordpress. I've got it installed locally, using WAMP. When I go to my "localhost:8080/wordpress/wp-admin" it redirects to:

   "http://localhost:8080/wordpress/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A8080%2Fwordpress%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1"

   Any idea what's happening? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

   Nothing untoward is happening. /wp-login.php automatically redirects to /wp-admin/

   My problem was that it was adding an extra directory folder (after my localhost#).. and I solved the issue with some help - the problem was in MySQL.

   I suppose it's safe to close this thread. How do I do that?
