   Hello,

   I have a theme that I would like to put an external link in the footer to the designer, however it is adding the URL for the actual site in front of the url for the external site, so in effect it is breaking the URL.

   The HTML is the following...

   The result is...

   `http://www.sitename.com/www.adomain.com

   how do I get WP to NOT add the current site URL into a footer link???

   Try using the full url - http://www.adomain.com
