Adding Custom Header (3 posts)

    Hello, everyone.

I've done a search and can't seem to find a fix anywhere for my problem. (Maybe my eyes are just tired.)

I've uploaded a WordPress theme (it's one of those that doesn't allow you to "change header" under Appearance) and adding a custom header is proving to be a Herculean task.

I am certain there is a way to make this happen and I'm sure some of you have encountered the same roadblock.

    Help.

    Hi,

    Check with this plugin:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add-your-own-headers/

You can edit the header.php file of the theme and set the image as per your requirement and should the size at it has set. Otherwise you ahve to edit the style.css file for settings of image.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

If you don't want to use a plugin, post a link to your site and perhaps someone else will provide you with detailed instructions.
