Adding CSS Background to an element in a post? (4 posts)

One of my guest contributors uses a table for her posts. In the right hand column, in each row, there should be a background image. She had been using "style="background..." but WordPress strips it out when she saves it.

I tried adding a custom CSS class for each element and calling for the background image using that. No luck.

Is it possible to display a background image for an individual element within a post?

    Thanks!

to give one of the table cells a background.

Well, you ought to try to take care of this.

    Do you mean that something like .faveshophop1 { background-image: url(<src>) } doesn't work?
