Adding Colour picker to theme settings

I’m still learning the in’s and out’s of WordPress theme development…slowly but getting there but have a question hopefully someone can answer 🙂

I’m starting to add “theme settings” in the admin but there is one that I am finding very complicated. I want to add several colour fields to the settings where a person clicks in the field and it pops a colour picker up to select a custom colour. I need this for each field (about 10 of them). I know you can download and use scripts for this but I thought because WordPress has one now (for the background feature), how would I call that colour picker to load for each custom colour field I have in my theme settings?

…hope that made sense? Just a reminder, I’m more of a designer than coder so for this one, I may need step by step info.
