Adding Canvas Element to Background (5 posts)

    I have a canvas..
    <canvas id="canvas" resize style="position: fixed"></canvas>

I want to place in between the background image I have on my wordpress and the actual content of the website.

I can't place this in my functions.php without wordpress breaking, and if I just place it in my header or the index.php - it just covers all the content of my site as opposed to just the background.

    Any suggestions

Sounds like you need to use z-index http://css-tricks.com/almanac/properties/z/z-index/

I'm aware of z index but the issue is I'm not sure where I need to put the code to begin with and what z index the background lays on and the main content lays on. The numbers don't seem to matter if I put it in index. Php

    Which theme are you using?
Can you link to the issue?

    I'm using twenty twelve.
It's not so much of an issue as it is I'm trying to add something but don't know where to put it.
