Adding an introduction (3 posts)

    Hey,

I've been using wordpress for a few months and I really think it's great. I started a new site a few days ago and installed wordpress as usual and everything works fine. But I need to add small text introduction to my site just before the posts and I don't know where to add it. I cannot add it to my theme header because I don't want it to show up on all the pages, just in the index, the first one.

    Thanks in advance,

    Claire

You could add it to your theme's index.php just before The Loop.
