    Hi, I have a theme installed (golden eagle lite) and I want to put an image as my background. I am new at this so i'm not sure what im doing, but i found this in appearence/editor/stylesheet

    body {
    font:13px/1.6 droid sans, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif;
    background:#000000
    background-attachment:fixed;
    color: #555;

    I added a picture to my wordpress media, got the link, and changed it to this:

    body {
    font:13px/1.6 droid sans, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif;
    background:#000000; url('http://www.traveltotheparty.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/picturenew.jpg')
    background-attachment:fixed;
    color: #555;

    Why wont my background change? am I doing something wrong?
    Please help!
    thank you-Macie

    Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.
