   Hi,

   Can anyone tell me if it's possible to set up a facility to allow users to register an account so they can view recent orders or action refunds etc (like on Amazon or Play.com) using Worpress plugins?

   There would then need to be a login widget in the sidebar. Any suggestions?

   There are lots of plugins (and php tweaks) to make a sidebar login, but for the first part (recent orders, etc) you would need an ecomerce plugin of some sort or another.
