Adding a Theme to the directory

    I’m trying to upload a theme to the theme directory, and it passes the Automated Theme Scan, but it also says “There is no theme called ‘<my theme’s name>’ in the directory. For child themes, you must use a parent theme that already exists in the directory.”

    I don’t know if my theme was submitted or not. How can I tell?

    If a unique Trac link/ticket for your theme was not displayed on the upload page, then your theme was not submitted. Based on the message you did receive, I think it’s highly unlikely that it was submitted.

    For a start, get rid of the Template tag in style.css that indicates that this is a child theme.
