[resolved] Adding a textbox that visitors can edit (3 posts)

    Hi,

    I've searching now quite extensively a way to incorporate a simple textbox in the front end that could be edited by page visitors that retains the earlier content. Basically something that would have editable text area and save changes button. Bit like a Google document where users could collaboratively edit the content. I keep thinking that easy way to do this exists, but I just can't find it.

    You could do this with the Formidable Pro forms plugin (not sure if the free version provides the required features for this, you'd need to look into that). Your visitors would need to be logged in.

    Thanks for the suggestion, doesn't seem to work in the free version though (as you expected). I eventually found a free solution by using wiki type plugin and removing unwanted features from it.
