Adding a pop-up music player? (1 post)

Hi all, i'm currently designing a website for a DJ friend of mine @ http://djryanmcnally.alchemyni.co.uk/ but I have a rather simple question, no doubt.

As you can see from the main page, I have integrated Soundcloud into posts using "Soundcloud is Gold" plugin, and also a Soundcloud widget to show a random track from his soundcloud account.

He would like the option to have an automatic pop-up window when you first visit the site that will play a random track from his soundcloud, but that won't stop playing as you navigate throughout the site, as it does if you use the play button on the embedded HTML5 players already in posts and widgets. i.e User logs on > Music player pops-up playing random mix > user visits another page on the website, leaving the pop-up to continue playing the mix. The music player would have to be manually closed to stop the music (or press pause in the player in the pop-up).

This should be built into the first page only, so a different pop-up doesn't open with every page visited...

My question, what's the best way to achieve this result?

    Regards,

    Joe
