Adding a page to a Drop Down Nav Bar on my Menu. (9 posts)

    I am so aggravated right now. I have been working on this for days. Come to find out that both Prophoto Blogs and Bluehost say to CALL or EMAIL workdpress, only to find out I can't. I wouldn't have purchased the hundreds of dollars in website upgrades if I would have known that. End rant :(

    On to my question. When I go to add a page to my drop down bar on my menu, I see where in videos on youtube (where I have had to resort), they have a panel on the right that says "page attributes" where you can then select where you want the page to go. Mine says page attributes, but doesn't have the drop down menu for me to select where I want it to go. Only has a field with a "0" in it. None of the other posts have been like this. I am soooo incredibly frustrated and also losing business because my site is down :( Not a happy camper.

    I think you want to be using a custom menu. Have you setup a custom menu for your site?

    Appearance -> Menus

  3. What theme are you using and where did you get it? If it's a commercial theme then you may be able to get support from the vendor.

    I found that, and tested it out creating a custom menu and adding my page to it. Only when I look at my website, I don't see a change.

    Sorry, but that doesn't mean anything to me... What's the URL for the theme you're using? Where did you get that theme?

  8. That's good, thanks for providing that link. ;)

    We do not have access to that commercial theme (nor want access to tell the truth) so I'm afraid for customization like that you really do need to contact that theme provider.

    I'm not sure why they (ProPhoto Blogs) would tell you to contact WordPress. The theme is their product and I'm sure they'll provide support.
