I've tried about every plugin I could find to add a "home" button on my website. My theme is Glossy Stylo 1.0.4 by aliwkbg.
    My URL http://www.peepsandcreeps.com
The last one I tried kept getting me caught in a loop with a 404 error to "return to peepsandcreeps.com/landing even tho I was directing it to dot com. I'm pulling my hair out. Can anybody give me a tip please? thx

I looked your style.css and I did not see any coding for your menus that would mean that your theme is not coded for menus.
your header is linked to Home page

So - isn't there something I could put in a text widget or something that can re-direct my visitors to the homepage after viewing any of my posts? YIKES I don't want to change themes over a home button.

yes you can You can use text widget on sidebar and add this code in text box and give it title if you wish and position that widget where ever you want.
    <a href="http://www.peepsandcreeps.com">Home</a>
