   Hi there, is there a simple plug-in / widget a WordPress blogger can add to put a counter to the sidebar to count daily site visits?

   I'd like to display to the site visitor how many people came to the site that day. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

   yes, there are many.....I use a version of statpress. ALl versions give you a whole bunch of goodies in the admin area to monitor traffic, and they come with a widget you can drop in your sidebar to display # of visitors
