Adding a banner to my website.

    I have just uploaded a free template to my wordpress blog. But I have a problem. I’d like to change the ‘site name and description’ to an image.

    My site is: http://www.tweetdump.net

    I’d like to change where it sais want a pic here to a custom image.
    Does anyone have any idea how i’d go about changing that?

    There should be something under Apperance on the Dashboard, if you just want to change the header image.

    But to fully customize it you’ll need to edit the header.php and style.css files.

    Thankyou John, but it seems on the dashboard I am only able to change text for header or description.

    There’s no way for me to add an actual image in that spot. I have no idea what I am doing with php and css files.

    Anywhere I can pay someone to do it for me? Can’t be that big of a job.
