[resolved] Adding a background image to the Mystique theme (6 posts)

    Hopefully someone can help, although I have a feeling this will be a quick fix!

    I want to add a background image to the Mystique theme. Using the option that comes with the Mystique control panel simply places the image top and centre of the page. I really want the image to repeat!

    Have looked and played around with the CSS etc but no joy. Saying that, I can get the desired effect when looking and editing the code with Firebug but can't replicate it.

    I've read and tried the help in other posts on the same topic but to no avail. If someone could post an idiots guide then I'd be more than grateful.

    Thanks in advance!

    Upload your new background image using the options in the settings page and save the changes. Go to the "User CSS" options page, and in the input area, paste this:

    body {background-repeat:repeat;}

    Then save the changes. That will leave the image centered, but it should now repeat. You can make the obvious changes if you don't want it to start top center. The "User CSS" page will allow you to make style overrides without having to edit the style sheet directly.

    I'm pretty sure that should work.

    Cheers - that has resolved the issue. Did try that earlier but with no joy. Anyway, it's working now so not going to mess with it any further.

    Thanks once again!
