   I wanted to add two columns in my pages just above the comments. The two column will serve as ads or rotating banners. I can modify the comments.php but I am not capable of creating the two columns. Hope someone can help me.

   The column layout should be like this:

   Put your stuff in the single.php - not in the comments.php

   thanks for the quick reply, but the problem is the stuff, the code (div class, div id etc)... Thats the hard one for me to do...
