    Hi,

I've just added a new Post to my site and hit "Post" and it's been sat there for 20 minutes.

I tried hitting the stop button on the browser and refreshing the page but now the dashboard/ nothing will load at all.

I've tried starting a new browser session but when I enter the URL (http://www.faqshop.com/wp) the site never loads.

I wonder if it's because I put a colon (:) in the post title.

Anyway, now I can't access my site at all :-(

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Via FTP, try deactivating your theme and/or plugins - that may let you login in again:

Thanks - tried both of those - no difference.

My site was working fine until I added the last post which like I say contained a ":" in the title so I wonder if it's this that's throwing it out?

I'd love to be able to get back to the post to be able to edit the title but all I get is a white screen of death so I'm open to suggestions anyone might have.

    Many thanks in advance.

Your site seems to load okay for me - do you have that?

    I see a post dated Feb. 19 -
ConfigMgr 2012 – System Center Monitoring Pack for System Center 2012 – Configuration Manager SP1 Version Released

OK this is weird as yeah it now looks OK. The post I added was this one:

    http://www.faqshop.com/wp/configmgr-announcement-february-2013-downloadable-documentation-for-configuration-manager

I wonder if it's because this article contains a bunch of links and it was doing something with these in the background that caused the apparent hang.

Just a bit unnerving this happened as I honestly thought I was painted into a corner and looking at a database/ site restore.

Many thanks for replying WPyogi. Any thoughts?
