   Hi,

   As my first step in using WordPress I uploaded a theme, then activated it. After that I have not been able to open my account or see my dashboard. Those pages come up blank. Can someone help me please?

   FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and delete the new theme's folder in wp-content/themes.

   yes delete the theme files. also, if that doesn't work, you may want to clear the value for the 'template' option in the wp_options table of you're database. I know that doesn't make too much sense (for any advanced users that might see this), but I have seen that happen once (only time I've ever seen it).
