add_image_size not re-sizing thumbnails to specified dimensions (2 posts)

    First off here is the set of code I used //

    set_post_thumbnail_size('small' ,75,200, false);
    add_image_size( 'small',75, 200, false);

    My issue is that the thumbnails are not changing.
    I would like a height of 200px and width of 75px.
    I believe the width is working correctly but the height doesn't work...
    The thumbnails totally shrink instead of stretching to 200px height they become 56px height...

    How can I fix this?

    2 things to check.

    First, with soft crop mode, the image you upload must has the same ratio as the size assigned, in this case your uploading image must has 75:200 dimension.

    Secondly, the final displaying image is also controlled by CSS, so check if the theme's CSS functioning according to this image size.
