Add tooltip (4 posts)

    I'd like to add a tooltip like the one that's over the entry title:
    <h2>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></h2>

    I'd like the tooltip to be for the Comments link. I'd like the tooltip to say: "Click here to read or write comments."

    But the code is different, so I'm not sure where to put the title tag attribute:

    <?php comments_popup_link('No Comments »', '1 Comment »', '% Comments »'); ?>

    Can anyone help me with the code? Thanks.

    You will have to edit the function in the core file "comment-functions.php" but if you are down to tweaking something like this, it's time you stopped screwing around with your blog and start posting on your blog ;-)

    So, what would the code be?

    in comment-functions.php find the function comments_popup_link and where it echoes the start of the link you may add a link title:

    title="Click here to read or write comments"
