   I added some code from the folks at "addthis.com" and it is not working properly.

   I added the js to the header, and the add this div is the first item on the screen. It is suppose to pop down on the top after you scroll down 150 pixels. But it just pops up.

   I am thinking I have it installed in the wrong place ?

   I believe this support area is about the AddThis WordPress plugin, not using AddThis in a custom-developed way on WordPress. You may want to ask this on AddThis's forum: http://www.addthis.com/forum/
