Hi there. Im developing my first wordpress theme but I need to have some way to filter the subcategories inside a category page.

It is for a store/catalog where products are called via posts (YAK plugin). So products are displayed as posts.

I need to tweak the category view so that when no option is yet clicked, all subcategories from that category are shown, but to have the option of choosing just one subcategory to display inside same page.
    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

Nope...nobody ever told me how to..
But I found this plugin, filters up to 5 categories in one page:

    Good luck!

Thanks a lot. The thing is I already have that setup running which I coded manually.

I have main categories, ie: Chocolates | Cars. They all filter using quicksand.js on individual pages. So if you goto: http://www.demo.co.za/categories/chocolates - you get a unique filter of chocolates.

Below that I have a dropdown list which has the chocolate brands, now I can't get that to work (do more filtering).

    :-(

Thanks though, will keep fighting :-)
