   Hello All

   I'm looking for an open source social networking platform that I can integrate with wordpress. I'm building a site that will need wordpress for it's blogging abilities but I would like to be able to add a social networking aspect so that people can befriend one another, use forums, write on walls, share photos, etc.

   I've looked into Lovd By Less and Elgg as solutions and I would have no problem installing and running them. However I'm looking for a simple solution to integrating them so that a user would go to one place to sign-in, rather have one session/username/password for both systems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   Professor (oor anyone else) did you ever find a solution to this issue? I'm looking for something similar. I'd like to integrate a WordPress blog with Lovd. In addition to a universal login, I'm looking for advice on how to have the same header from the WordPress blog show up on the social networking side of the site.

   Yes, we tried BuddyPress, quite frankly, it's not up to WP snuff yet. Major headache!!!

   im also busy trying to find out how to have wordpress integrated with Elgg
   who has done this one before?

   I was looking into OpenID maybe this is a way to go around?
