   I would like to create single posts to use as CMS functionality for my client. I have 3 feature boxes on the home page and I would like their content to come from a post.

   How do I go about placing singular post data on a page? Also, how do I hide these posts from the main post loop?

   I should add that the posts will have an image as well, and a link which will take the user to an individual page...
