I now understand the page changes in the newest TML, and I need to be able to disable “Show Dashboard” and “Show Profile” at the widget before updating away from 6.2.3 at two of my sites. Not in any hurry here, just wondering whether that is an eventual possibility.
Many thanks for all your fine work.
If you enabled Custom User Links, you can remove them and also add any links you wish, per user role.

Removing them does not work since TML will not leave them empty, but they will re-direct as they should and I have done that for now…but it would still be nice to be able to remove the Dashboard and Profile links from the TML widget rather than to have users wondering why those links go nowhere.
The delete and update buttons don’t appear to work within User Links but you can remove them by clearing the title and Url text boxes manually and then save changes.
Many thanks, StevieMav! That works for at least one user role.
@jeff: I can delete “Dashboard” and “Profile” for one role, but not for more than one role. When I try to delete for more than one, the other returns.
I cannot replicate this issue.
Perhaps disable all other plugins and see if the problem persists.

While I have not tried disabling *all* plugins, I have tried disabling “Members” and some others related to users, roles and the Admin Bar, and I have also had a Developer attempt to use CSS to altogether block the TML widget from displaying the “Dashboard” and “Profile” links for all roles. The Developer has commented that TML is quite sophisticated, and maybe that explains why he could not block the widget’s links via CSS with consistency across all roles.
My own logic suggests the simplest solution here is to have the option of unchecking “Dashboard” and “Profile” right along with all the other options right there at the widget, and that would be my “new feature” request that might possibly appear in a future update.
If you might wish to take a another look at things at my sandbox site, the credentials I had previously sent you to should still be good there.
Great plugin, Jeff, and many thanks for your fine work.
This actually is a bug indeed. However, the workaround is to make sure you have javascript enabled, delete the links and do not click the save button.
