   I would like to add a search bar plugin to my blog within the sidebar, but am not sure how to. http://www.designerhacks.com

   jeremys, a search bar is included in the wordpress package, so it is probably there somewhere, invisible. Your theme is likely hiding it. Check your CSS files for "display: none".

   Great! Got the search bar in there, thanks for your help. Only now there is this crazy bullet point next to it?!
