    Dear {RECIPIENTNAME}

  • @nyckidd,

    Only problem with that is {RECIPIENTNAME} would but empty for the vast majority of subscriber and users.

    Public Subscriber only submit their email address, not their name or any other details and Registered Subscribers are not obliged to complete this information after registering in WordPress.

    I believe that adding this would cause too much confusion among users of the plugin and subscribers on individual blogs.

    Thanks, actually i was able to hack the recipients name on there, the site is a very custom wp site so in our case we actually have all the subscriber first and last names.

    Thanks for the quick response though appreciate it.

    @nyckidd,

    One of the benefits of open source code, if you have a custom set up and a little bit of knowledge or patience you can change it and get it doing something slightly different that’s better for your site.

    Well done for having a go! 🙂
