Hi, All. This is my third and hopefully final call for help on a new WordPress blog. But I've almost got my blog where I want it. Here is the site:
    http://www.dighuman.com
I would like, finally, to have a link on each post category page (Suggested Draft Changes, Useful Quotations, Suggested Readings, Q&A) that allows a subscriber to create a new post directly to that category, without having to click on the appropriate category in the Dashboard. The ideal link would would say something like "Post a new question" or "post a new reading." This link would take you to a very stripped-down "New Post" screen with just the title and posting boxes, and the appropriate category already pre-chosen.

At the moment, I have a much clunkier mechanism: a page in the navigation menu that sends would-be posters to the "New Post" page in the dashboard, along with instructions for how to link their post to a particular category. There are of course more categories listed on this page than there are postable categories (for example the "Header Navigation" category). I suspect that most users of this blog will be even newer to this process than I am, so I'd just like to make posting as easy as possible: click, type, and publish.
As always, thank you for any help.

Thanks for the very rapid response. I tried TDO Mini Forums, but it has a known bug with WordPress 3 that's not allowing me to use it (has to do with creating a dummy user for the plugin for which the workarounds aren't working). Is there a similar plugin that will do the same job? Sorry for the bother, and thank you again.
