Add Photos to Top of Page?

    I’m currently updating my page now. I got a new theme for it and that is fine, BUT?

    Now the top of the page looks very bare compared to the last theme I had. I am wanting to know if there is a way to somehow place the photos that I insert into each story to the top of the page as a stream? Is there a widget for that? Or can I add a photo that remains up there all the time?
