    I'm trying to find a simple way to add a permalink icon or hyperlink to the footer of each of my posts. This is all to make it easier for people to send a trackback my way. Most of the blogs that I visit have a hyperlink at the end that is clear that you can find the code here. My permalinks are working fine. If you click on the title, you get a page with the right URL...I just want another way for people to find this in case they don't know how to get the permalink by clicking on the posting. Sounds simple, but I can't figure it out or find a plug in.

    The site is here: http://www.everyonebutyou.com

    Thanks,
    JMR

    <a href="<?php echo get_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link: <?php the_title_attribute(); ?>">Permanent Link To This Post</a>

    Then you should ask about the TRACKBACK URI and not other things!
    And searching the documentation always helps: Template_Tags/trackback_url
