• Hello,

I am a newbie to wordpress and for that matter I have never used before until now. I have a friend that has a website that was recoded to become a theme. I have uploaded the theme no problem. How can I setup pages for this site to be edited and used as CMS? I looked through the support questions, FAQs, and etc just can’t seem to get it. Maybe b/c I am no coder. But if someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it with links or even a quick step by step.

FYI this site was already up and running but moved to wordpress solely for CMS purposes. The theme is active but have no idea how to get the navigation bar and pages to talk if you know what I mean.

The goal here is to add the main pages to the manage -> pages -> section so this user can just edit the content easily.

  • I am having exactly the same problem -sort of.
I have a WP site that has pages on the navigation on the front page, but when I moved to a server, all those pages disappeared, and although the pages themselves exist, they don’t show on the front page navigation, so might as well not exist. I’ve tried everything, but can’t get it to work.
