Add own responsive css to a theme?

    I am using the celestial lite theme and would like to add some of my own responsive styles. I tried to add this in the editor and it is not working.
    Is this possible?

    I don’t know if I went about using wordpress correctly. I did a lot of customizing so not sure if it would have made more sense to make a wordpress site from scratch? But that
    seems like an entire different task to learn.
    I am trying to make this phone/ipad compatible. I tried adding media queries and it didn’t
    work.

    It’s looking really good jstan. Just remove the hardcoded widths for the boxes and you’ll be good to go.
