   hello,
   i have a problem with NextGEN gallery. when i try to insert a gallery into a post or a page using the "Add NextGEN Gallery" button. when i click the arrow in the "Select or enter gallery", the dropdown menu doesn't appear even though the circle (ajax loader) appears for a while. i've tried this in the latest chrome, firefox and IE.
   i can however include the gallery manually and it works well.
   i'm using the latest wordpress and nextgen gallery.

   I have problems with uploads also, but my problem concerns something else. I just want to say that I am familiar with your issue occurring for me with Konqueror and Chrome. However, I do not have that issue with Firefox 3.6

   it's actually not an upload probelm. it's a problemwith inserting the existing gallery into a blog post. i've tried it with another installation of wordpress on a different host and it works. couldn't this be a conflict with the qTranstlate plugin?

   i've turned off all other plugins and it still doesn't work :/

   It looks like I am having the exact same problem as you janper. Just downloaded NextGen Gallery and using WordPress 3.1.

   I can't get the drop down box for "Select or enter gallery" to operate either, but pasting the code in manually the post/page does work.

   eventualy i've solved it quite radically:
   i instelled a fresh copy of wordpress connected to a fresh database and it works well now.
