Add New Plugins still adds new plugins, but there is no progress meter.
All it says is:
'Downloading install package from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/hello-dolly.zip…' (or whatever the plugin is)
There's no status messages saying 'downloading - unpacking - do you want to activate' etc.
Any ideas how to fix?
Is there any improvement if you deactivate all plugins before installing a new plugin?

ugh yeah it works fine then.
Can't think for the life of me what I could have added to mess it up :-/
