Switched to twentyeleven and still no editor. I only have to wait a week or two and a new version of WordPress will come out. Maybe this issue will be fixed in that one.
I’m going to download version 3.4.2 and see if that one works. I installed 3.4.1 for a customer two or three months ago so I know that one works.
I’m using the plugin called Ultimate Tiny MCE by Josh Lobe in order to have an expanded menu of options in the text box for pages or posts. I think that might be what you need. The basic menu editor that comes out of the box is pretty basic so you add the Tiny MCE to have more choices. It’s very customizable with tons of options you can choose to add to your text box menu. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Tinymce used to come with WordPress and it had all the features a poster would need and then some. Now WordPress just comes with a blank editor with NO features like bold, italicize or underline.
It seems as though WordPress has reached as good as it gets and are now going back to the days where if you want to communicate with others you need a pencil and a piece of paper. I don’t know, maybe it’s time to take another look a B2Evolution.
