I'm trying to set up a site with the Add link plugin, but after following all the steps, I keep getting a "Add Link to Facebook needs authorization" error. Whenever I click on authorise, the page changes to the site home page, and when I go back into the admin page, it says "Add Link to Facebook needs authorization" and so on, round and round again.
Any ideas on whats causing this issue?

Yes I did and you should have the error message 'Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration'. Try the procedure in question E03 of the FAQ to solve this problem.

Sorry, I didnt get the "Given URL" message. Followed procedure E03 and still getting the error. I can let you have the admin codes to see if there is any issue.

Hi,
I am having the same problem. My error message is...
'Invalid redirect_uri: De opgegeven URL wordt niet toegestaan door de configuratie van de applicatie.'
I have copied the ID and Secret from the FB app. This seems quite simple so I think it must be the URL..
I am using
http://pphdash.info/wp-admin/tools.php?page=add-link-to-facebook/add-link-to-facebook.php.
I have tried lots of url combinations as the one above seems too long but I think this is whats meant in the FAQ
Hopefully someone can help

The correct URL is indicated by the plugin on the yellow box of the settings page.

i am having the same problem. The problem is the URL indicated by the plugin is invalid according to Facebook. It requests I add http://mysite.com to the fb app, but fb only accteps mysite.com without the http and that is why i am getting this error.
please help.
Please be sure to enter the URL indicated by the plugin in the Facebook application Site URL field. The domain field should be empty. Note that there should be a trailing slash, like http://mysite.com/
If it doesn't work, send me the debug info as explained in the last question of the FAQ.

This is the error I get:
Error
App Domain: mintechn.com/ is not a valid domain.
What exactly did you fill in as Site URL?

my site domain: mintechn.com
if i put http://mintechn.com/ or mintechn.com/ , i get the error from facebook that it is not a valid domain.
I just entered 'http://mintechn.com/' into Website > Site URL of a newly created Facebook application and it is accepted ...

App Domain is blank. Am inserting my blog site address into Website>Site URL on Facebook app page. http://petuniarambles.com/ Still will not authorize. I've been over this MANY times and getting nowhere. Using latest version of WP, updated yesterday.

Same problem...
I tried a lots of time. Il think I fill corectly the facebook form (blank domain and good url, with or without ending slash), ...
And I still have the message "Error validating verification code." :-(
