I was using 3.4.2 and noticed that add link button doesnt work while writing a post. So decided to install the new beta version (3.5) and sadly it seems to have the same problem. Remove link button works but add link button doesnt have a function.

Add link works fine for me on 3.4.2 and 3.5. What plugins are you using?

Note that you have to select some text first in order to make it a link.

Nope. Click link, insert HTML, hit enter. You come back to between the carets 😀

    Works fine on trunk 😀

Folks i have solved the issue… the problem is the local server created by wamp… i installed both versions on a remote real server and everything works like a charm. Sorry for the false alarm… set this thread as solved or false positive…

Nope. Click link, insert HTML, hit enter.

I was referring to TinyMCE, where “Insert/edit link” button is disabled unless some text is selected.
