   Hi all,

   WordPress newbie/CSS Newbie here. We are using the Basic Simplicity theme (http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/basic-simplicity). We would like to add a widget enabled sidebar to the lefthand side of the blog, that matches the one on the righthand side. I've been searching, but I can't find anywhere that explains EVERYTHING that would need to happen, step by step.

   Can anyone please provide assistance? Our blog is http://www.hkinlove.com

   That's going to take a fair amount of theme editing. How comfortable are you with using PHP, HTML & CSS?

   I'm fairly comfortable in HTML, I can copy and paste CSS/PHP well. :) I have edited things like the size of our header in CSS to customize it. So, once I get the idea of what to do, I can be okay. Just not sure where things need to get inserted, etc.
