   Hello

   Is it possible to add the title, excerpt and link from the most recent post within a category to a text widget?

   I know you can insert HTML code so guessing it's possible.

   I'm using v. 3.0.4 / Twenty Ten. Site URL here: http://yoyo.www39.a2hosting.com

   not really....

   You would want to use php code, which the text widget can't handle

   there are php code widgets you could use though

   A query posts loop would work for it..... if that's what you wish to do, are there no recent posts plugins which work for you?
