Add icons (links) to site header

    Help someone! I need to do the following: add 2 small images (country flags, to switch the languages) to the site’s right top corner, which would be links. How to do that? Which files to change?

    I don’t want to use plugins, because the versions of site would be different, some pages would be on 1language, but wouldn’t on 2language.
